At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Dec. 28, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) uniform officers responded to a residence in the area of Huron and St. Claire Avenue in the City of Niagara Falls to check on the welfare of a resident.
When they arrived, they found an adult female deceased within the home.
41-year-old Dale James Vincent of Niagara Falls is facing the following charge:
- Second-degree murder
There is currently a police presence in the area with homicide detectives, along with the Forensic Services Unit (FSU) investigating.
Detectives have information to suggest that this was not a random act of violence.
