Suspect sought following St. Catharines shooting

The 24-year-old male victim is still in hospital in serious condition

Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) detectives in St. Catharines continue to investigate a Princess Ann Circle shooting incident.

The incident occurred Jan. 9. 2025 at approximately 12:11 p.m. inside a Princess Ann Circle home. The 24-year-old male victim is still in hospital in serious condition.

The unknown suspect is described as:

  • South Asian male
  • Blue winter toque
  • Dark jacket

Anyone (residents / business owners) who may have been in the area with cell phones, closed circuit video recording, or dash camera footage between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 9, 2025, is asked to review their footage of the area and contact police if they see anything suspicious.
