On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at approximately 10:11 p.m., 5 District uniform officers, with the Niagara Regional Police Service, the Fort Erie Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services, attended the area of East Main Street and Stevensville Road, in the Town of Fort Erie for a stabbing.
Investigation revealed that a 39-year-old male was in his garage with a 41-year-old male and a 44-year-old male when the three males got into a physical altercation. As a result, the 39-year-old male was stabbed by the other two males.
Officers arrived on scene and as a result of the investigation located both suspects.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Adam Farago, 41 years old, of Niagara Falls, was arrested and charged with the following offence of:
- Aggravated assault
Farago was held in custody, pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on March 11, 2021.
James Jacobs, 44 years old, of Fort Erie, was arrested and charged with the following offence of:
- Aggravated assault
Jacobs was held in custody pending a bail hearing that is expected to take place on March 11, 2021.
