Laila Ali - Domestic Medium Hair - 1.5yrs

Laila Ali is our most recent arrival in foster care. At the shelter, she was known for her boxing abilities (is this how she got her name? or is it because of her big mitts - she does have extra toes!). Laila was lovingly described as “gorgeous but deadly.” However, within a matter of hours in foster care, this girl proved she was a misunderstood lover, not a fighter.
Laila enjoys cuddling, snuggling and soaking up all the pets you’ll offer. She is definitely a lap cat and won’t want to leave your side. How cute is this - she likes to hold hands (paws?) with her foster mom while they watch TV. Laila also loves using her scratching post (a nice tall one please, so she can stretch her long body), and lounging on the chair or in one of her many cat beds. She doesn’t seem to care much about food and so far eats dry only. Toys also don’t seem to be of much interest, though she’ll play if you play with her. A chatty girl with her foster family, Laila is happy to nap quietly while they’re at work.
While she’s seemed curious about the other cats in her foster home, she would do best in a home where she wouldn’t have to compete for attention and affection with other pets. Laila also likes to give love nibbles, can play a little rough once in a while, and doesn’t love to be squished (even when it’s to love her), so for these reasons, she’s best suited to a home without young kids.

Ruby - Female Boxer mix - 5 years old

Ruby is such a sweet girl. She may be a bit nervous at first but it doesn't take her long to warm up and once she does, she's such a doll! This girl wants an adopter who's has someone at home all the time because she suffers from separation anxiety and hates being left alone. She also wants adopters who are gentle and willing to take the time to help her gain confidence in order to enjoy life.
Ruby's perfect home has a fenced yard, no kids under 16 years old and no cats.
