On Monday, representatives from Niagara Region, the Indigenous community, Gillian’s Place and Tools of Empowerment for Success (TOES) Niagara gathered at Niagara Region Headquarters to raise the Wrapped in Courage and No More Stolen Sisters flags in recognition of the launch of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. This flag raising ceremony is intended to build awareness and promote advocacy against gender-based violence.
