GUEST POST: Thorold leaders invited to annual prayer breakfast

Updates from the mayor and local stakeholders over Zoom - here's how to participate
Thorold Leaders Prayer Breakfast

On Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 7:15 a.m., The Thorold Ministerial (also known as One Church Thorold) will be hosting the 3rd annual Thorold Leaders Prayer Breakfast via Zoom.

The theme for this year's prayer breakfast is: “A Caring Community.”

The event will include a time to connect with local leaders over breakfast from home via Zoom with various Thorold churches, businesses, community organizations, and public services.

Following a time of connection, we will hear from this year's dynamic speaker, Pastor Ken Maquarrie.

After being inspired by Pastor Ken, the event will shift to an update from Mayor Terry Ugililini.

Further, there will be updates from One Thorold’s progress in developing Neighbourhood Hubs throughout the city and the work of the Housing Committee regarding developing local housing solutions with community-supports with a goal to help the homeless and the precariously housed in our city off the streets in Thorold.

The event will close with prayer for the ongoing work in our city and prayer for the various leaders and organizations that serve our city.

Please register and request the Prayer Breakfast Zoom link by emailing [email protected].

Donations this year will go to Community Care and The Thorold Ministerial.
