CSIKOS, Michael

1932 - 2024

On the 12th of October 2024, at the age of 91, Michael passed away peacefully at his home.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Betty of 69 years of marriage; their three sons, Mike (Deb), Kevin (Melanie) and Dave (Suzette); their grandchildren, Meaghan (Dan), Chelsea (Andrew), Max, Charles, Cody and Justin; and their great-grandson, Santi.

As a talented mechanic Mike pursued a career in education teaching in the automotive trades. He taught the Automotive Apprenticeship Program at Conestoga College in Guelph and completed his teaching career at Thorold Secondary School. Mike was a lifelong learner and a person who enjoyed helping others.

He had a long and happy retirement enjoying the friendships with so many people he met throughout his life. He also made many happy memories with his grandchildren, that they will cherish forever.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the first responders and to Officer MacLeod. A special thank you to the Conley family for all their help and assistance.

In keeping with Mike's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will gather at Fonthill Cemetery for a private interment on a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
