With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Danica Kasalica, on Friday, October 4th 2024, at 79 years of age. An extraordinary and loving mother to Nina (Wade), and Baka to her grandchildren Lucas and Emma, whom she absolutely adored. Danica was a hard-working woman of many talents, who put thought and care into everything she did. An exceptional chef and baker, she found joy in sharing her creations, whether hosting a large dinner party, or a small family gathering. A long-time employee of CIBC, she successfully balanced her career and family life, excelling at both. Her kind, generous nature had an impact on everyone around her, be it family, friend or colleague. In honouring Danica's wishes, cremation has taken place, with a private service at a later date.
