A 39-year-old man has been charged with abducting and sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.
Mario Bozza was arrested today by Niagara Regional Police and remains in custody pending a bail hearing in St. Catharines.
Police believe that the accused used social media to contact other victims, and are asking anyone with information to contact detectives.
Police believe the suspect was driving a "distinctive vehicle" at the time of the alleged crime: a 2019 Ford Mustang, licence plate CHFY 702, with aftermarket exhaust, black tint and black rims.

In September of 2022, detectives with the Niagara Regional Police Service Child Abuse Unit commenced an investigation into allegations of sexual assault.
Subsequently on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, a male was arrested and charged in relation to a 13-year-old female.
Thirty-nine-year-old Mario Bozza is facing the following charges:
• Abduction of person under 14
• Sexual assault
• Sexual interference
• Invitation to sexual touching
• Expose genitals
Bozza is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022 at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in the City of St. Catharines.
It is believed that the suspect was driving a distinctive vehicle during the commission of the offence – a 2019 light Ford Mustang with licence plate CHFY 702, aftermarket exhaust, black tint and black rims.
Through their investigation, detectives have reason to believe social media was utilized to contact further victims, and are asking anyone with information to contact them at (905) 688-4111, dial option 3, ext 1009538.
