The Niagara Regional Police Service is proud to announce the launch of its Holiday Card Colouring Contest for the 2025 season. This exciting initiative invites children to submit their original artwork for a chance to be featured on the service’s official holiday card.

The contest is open to all youth in grades JK/SK to Grade 3 within the Region of Niagara. The theme for this year's contest is “how do you stay safe in your community” and submissions should be suitable for use on a holiday card. A variety of mediums are acceptable, and participants can submit their artwork on an 8.5x11 paper.

The winning entries will be selected by The Holiday Card Committee and will appear on the Service’s holiday card for 2025, along with the artist’s name. Additionally, the original artwork will be displayed at NRPS Headquarters in Niagara Falls. Winners will also receive a special NRPS prize pack.

The deadline for submission is Nov. 1. Artwork may be submitted at any Police District front desk across Niagara during regular business hours, or by mail to 5700 Valley Way, Niagara Falls Ontario, L2E 1X0.  The package should be clearly marked: 'NRPS Holiday Card Entry.'

All creative young minds are encouraged to get involved and depict their vision of ‘“how do you stay safe in your community”.
