On Sunday November 24, 2019 at approximately 6:55 pm, 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold) uniform officers responded to an address on Manley Cr. in the City of Thorold following the report of the death of an adult male.
Investigation has revealed that the male had been deceased inside the residence for a prolonged period of time.
The scene is currently being held while 1 District Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) Detectives continue to investigate along with the office of the coroner.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday November 27, 2019.
Two females have been arrested and charged in connection with this on-going investigation.
46-year-old Paulette Villamil and 46-year-old Tamara Bernard, both of the City of Thorold, are both facing the following alleged charge:
- Dead Body:Neglect Duty S. 182(a)
Villamil and Bernard are currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
